Signatures Signed for Project to Strengthen Digital Transformation and Export Capacity of Çorum Teknokent Companies
A new project, “Strengthening the Digital Transformation and Export Capacities of Çorum Teknokent Companies,” launched in collaboration between Çorum Teknokent Inc. and the Middle Black Sea Development Agency (OKA), has officially been signed.
The contract for Çorum Teknokent’s first project was signed by Prof. Dr. Ali Osman Öztürk, Chairman of the Board of Çorum Teknokent Inc., and Mehlika Dicle, Secretary General of OKA.
The project aims to accelerate the digital transformation processes of companies operating within Çorum Teknokent, increase their access to global markets, and enhance their intellectual property management capacities.
As part of the initiative, Teknokent companies will receive training and consultancy in digital marketing, e-export, intellectual property rights, artificial intelligence, and big data. Additionally, the project seeks to integrate AI and big data technologies into business processes to boost the companies’ competitiveness.
“We Aim to Make Çorum Teknokent a Hub of Attraction”
Prof. Dr. Ali Osman Öztürk emphasized that the joint project, along with R&D and university-industry collaboration, aims to accelerate the digitalization process of companies at Çorum Teknokent. He added:
"This project will also strengthen the position of Çorum’s Teknokent companies in international markets. By combining Çorum’s strong industrial infrastructure with Hitit University’s specialization and AI-focused initiatives, we are creating a robust collaboration network. Our goal is to transform Çorum Teknokent, a critical bridge in university-industry cooperation, into a hub of attraction with AI and big data technologies."
“We Aim to Develop Our Region’s Medium and High-Tech Industry”
Mehlika Dicle, Secretary General of OKA, highlighted the agency’s role under the coordination of the Ministry of Industry and Technology’s Development Agencies General Directorate and shared the region’s industrial vision.
"Developing technological capabilities is critical for the transformation of our industrial and manufacturing infrastructure. With this project in collaboration with Çorum Teknokent, we aim to strengthen our businesses’ technological transformation, enhance R&D infrastructure, and increase their international competitiveness," she said.
The signing ceremony was attended by Çetin Başaranhıncal, President of Çorum Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Vice Chairman of Çorum Teknokent Board, Dr. Mustafa Reşit Haboğlu, General Manager of Çorum Teknokent, Tuğba Purtul Kılıç, OKA Çorum Provincial Coordinator, and the Teknokent management team.
